Zion and Bryce National Park
We spent 3 days in Zion Nation Park and 1 in Bryce Canyon NP
In Zion we decided to do a 2 days hike in the 'Narrows'. The Narrows are deep canyons/gorges filled with water that you can hike down..which mean you spend 60% of your time in the water ( up to 1.5 meters deep). This was a great and out of the ordinary experience! We had to rent some 'canyoning' shoes and dry suits to do it as the water was vey cold ( around 8C). It was not so good for the knees and ankles as you walk all the time on polished and slippery stones ( I was moaning all the time) but really worth it...awesome pictures...
We then went to Bryce Canyon NP which is 2 hours from Zion NP. Bryce surprised us...the name did not ring a bell and is not as famous as Zion, Monument valley, Arches NP or Death Valley but we are not sure why cause the views of the canyon and all these hoodoo's (tall spires of rock) are trully breathtaking...again check the pictures and see by yourself...
We are now in Moab for some climbing and hopefully our first 'desert tower'!
